The Forage was established in 2014 with a mission to bring together the best of Canberra’s food trucks, restaurants, mobile food and beverage vendors in a street food festival environment as a platform to promote and celebrate the ever-growing food culture in Canberra. 

 

The Forage connects our community by the power of food whilst providing our local vendors, musicians, artists and entertainers with a platform to expose their brand and products directly to a ‘real' audience.

The event is held in a variety of locations across Canberra to utilise, activate and enliven community assets, precincts and spaces. Since our establishment in 2014 The Forage has successfully assisted in the activation of several precincts including:

 

  • NewActon 

  • Odgers Lane

  • Canberra Airport 

  • Little National Hotel 

  • Dairy Road Precinct

The Forage is proudly independently and locally owned in Canberra and the small team is committed to staging innovative and immersive experiences for the community. A place where fans and foodies can connect, discover and share in their love of food and our city.
